While tension is brewing in the villa with the arrival of new boy Danny, it's a dramatic departure that has everyone talking today.
On Tuesday lunchtime ITV confirmed that Sherif had been kicked off Love Island after 'breaking the rules'.
The statement from the channel read "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa."
Sherif Lanre added "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
And a Love Island spokesperson has told Chronicle Live that Sherif's exit "will be acknowledged on the show," on Tuesday night, without going into any detail as to why he was asked to leave the villa.
The episode will focus on Danny's growing attraction to Molly-Mae and being torn between her and Yewande, Curtis and Amy getting to spend some time in the Hideaway, Lucie and Joe going on a date outside of the villa and Amber and Michael's kiss.
