Love Island viewers spot how opening revealed spoiler for recoupling

Love Island viewers spotted how producers gave a spoiler for tonight's recoupling in the opening segment of the show.

Following Mabel's performance tonight at the Spotify summer party and Liam's declaration, Mary received a text.

It said: "Islanders. It’s now time to recouple. The girls will each choose which boy they want to couple up with.

"Please all gather around the fire pit immediately. #girlpower #flipthatswitch”

The Islanders gathered at the fire pit with the girls taking their seats and the boys standing in front of them.

However, fans of the show knew there would be drama due to the opening song in the show's introduction.

Producers played Krept & Konan's 'Don't Waste My Time' referencing Tyler's previous comment, in which he asked if he was 'wasting his time' choosing over Kaz and Clarisse.

Viewers thought this was in reference to tonight's recoupling.

Scorpiona tweeted: "Whoever picked this song for the love island intro, DESERVES A RAISE! I’m cackling."

Tracy said: "Not Krept and Konan as the intro song, tonight is gonna be drama-filled."

A third tweeted: "Music producer understands the assignment with the opening song today."

Chloe added: "The way the song fits."

Marjorie wrote: "Love Island are cheeky for playing this song after Tyler told Kaz he’s wondering if he’s wasting his time."

Lori said: "Not them playing this song when everyone is wasting everyone's time in this villa."
