Love Island viewers rage over 'missing' part of normal show

Love Island viewers are not happy that certain challenges have not aired this series.

Tonight's show saw the Islanders take on a 'quarterback challenge' that involved a 'snogathon'.

Toby received a text that read: " Islanders. Get ready to quarterback yourselves, in today’s couples challenge. #makeapass #playingthefield”

Taking on the challenge in their couples, the boys dressed up as American football players as the girls dressed up as cheerleaders.

The first round saw the girls collect the football and kick it over the goal post, while their boy attempted to shield them as the rest of the boys tried to cover her head to toe in ketchup and mustard.

The second round was a snogathon as the couples battled it out to see who can hold the longest smooch.

But Love Island fans said they would have rather seen the traditional challenges such as 'the headline, heart rate and Twitter challenge.'

MB tweeted: "I'm sorry but wtf is that challenge... WHERE'S TWITTER/HEADLINES???"

May wrote: "Where is the Twitter challenge?? Jake needs to be OUTED."

Naomi-Kay said: "We need the heart rate challenge and the Twitter challenge I am BOREDDDDDDD."

Tash tweeted: "Twitter challenge needs to happen so Liberty can see how Jake was the casa instigator."

A fifth added: "What’s wrong with the producers this isn’t the challenge we wanted bring out the Twitter challenge even the heart rate one."

And Paige said: "Where are all the decent challenges at? I want to them to know what Twitter has been saying."
