Love Island viewers defend Luke T over 'deliberate move' most people missed

Love Island's first winter series is currently in the middle of the show's most explosive challenge - .

This week, the original islanders were split between the main villa and the infamous 'Love House' to see if their heads could be turned by new contestants.

The challenge is set to end tonight, and ITV2 viewers have predicted heartbreak and tears as both Callum and Nas are set to ditch their couples for new girls, Molly and Eva.

But one contestant with his mind firmly made up is Luke T, who is currently coupled up with Siânnise Fudge.

Both Luke and his fellow islander, Finn Tapp, have made it clear from the start they won't stray from their current girls, both of whom are in the main villa.

And while some viewers have accused Luke T of remaining loyal simply because none of the new contestants expressed an interest, others have now come to his defence after spotting a sweet moment.

During Wednesday night's show, islanders had to play a game of Twister, which also included challenges with every move, such as neck licking, toe sucking and a snog.

Before the kiss challenge, Luke T fell out of position, meaning he was no longer included in the game.

Believing he did it on purpose, one social user wrote: "When Luke T deliberately lost in the game of twister so he didn’t have to kiss someone."

The tweet racked up over 2,000 likes, with many more Love Island fans agreeing.

Another tweet read: "Why does everyone forget Luke T?

"He’s not just being loyal because no one picked him. He literally faked losing the twister game to avoid kissing someone else."

And they might just be right, as Luke T has made his feelings clear, speaking to Finn on last night's show, he said: "For me, my mind is set on Siânnise.

"I just want her to be single when I go back."

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
