Love Island viewers beg ITV to make one change to the show

Viewers of dating reality show Love Island have taken to Twitter to "beg" ITV to make one change to the programme.

Angry fans told producers to stop with the kissing noises,  with many saying it was the only thing they hated about watching the couples in the villa.

Many want the producers to turn the mics off when a couple kiss to spare the audience at home from the slurping sounds.

In tonight's episode, we saw Mike Boateng head to 'The Dog House' to sleep rather than share a bed with Jess Gale.

But he doesn’t end up being alone, as Leanne Amaning, 22, - who he has admitted he has feelings for - cheekily sneaks out to join him and the pair end up kissing.

People watching at home were immediately in uproar on social media about hearing the kissing.

@melcoldest said: " ITV I beg you, switch off the microphone whilst people are kissing."

Another, @MissBlackIvory said: " #loveisland please turn the kissing noise off I can't stand it. They can kiss just we don't need to hear it."

@whatkatie_did said: " Between the volume of the kissing and the weird food challenges they do, someone on #loveisland’s production team needs their head looking at."

@Lisamarie0410x said: " One thing i hate about #LoveIsland is the loud kissing noises."

@rochehartt said: " You really need to mute kissing sounds."

@FfionHumphries2 said: " Please turn off their microphones when they are kissing."

This isn't the first time the show has been criticised for noises, during last year's series, viewers said they felt "sick" hearing the sounds.

Even voice over, comedian Iain Stirling said: "Ugh, I hate the sound of people kissing," when Curtis and Amy shared an moment in the Hideaway.

*Love Island is on ITV2, evenings from 9pm
