Love Island teases double dumping tonight following public vote

Love Island has only just had a recoupling but it looks like chaos is about to hit the villa once again.

In scenes set to air tonight the contestants are asked to gather around the fire pit as they're informed of a new public vote.

At the end of Monday's show, host Iain Stirling announced voting was open for the public to choose their favourite girl and boy Islanders to save.

And in a first look at Tuesday's episode it looks like the results are in.

In a preview islanders are sporting 70s outfits for a party but are interrupted when they receive the dreaded text.

Faye reads: "Islanders. Can you all gather around the fire pit?"

Hugo receives the next text which reads: "The public have been voting for their favourite girl and favourite boy. Those with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped from the Island tonight."

While it's not been revealed who and how many people will be dumped, in previous series the twist has seen a girl and a boy from different couples sent packing for good, reports The Mirror.

It comes just days after newbies AJ and Danny Biddy entered the villa and a recoupling took place, sending Sharon Gaffka home.

Couples as they stand are AJ and Hugo, Lucinda and Danny, Liberty and Jake, Kaz and Aaron, Chloe and Toby, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy.

Find out what happens tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
