Love Island start date confirmed and it's sooner than you think

The start date for Love Island has been confirmed - and it's back sooner than you may think.

This Morning announced today that Love Island is set to return to our screens in less than two weeks' time on Monday, June 28 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.

Holly Willoughby shouted “I’ve got a text!” as her phone rang on the programme.

Laura Whitmore will return as host for her second year alongside her husband Iain Stirling as narrator for the seventh series.

It is thought that it will be filmed in its ‘home’ of Majorca after the last series being set in the South African sun.

The summer 2020 series had to be cancelled due to coronavirus so the last series to air was set in the winter sun

They also revealed that the iconic water bottles will be getting a new look this year, being white instead of the usual clear.

The new bottles will be available from the official online Love Island shop straight away, priced at £20, and the writing comes in the iconic pink, blue and orange.
