Love Island fans are salivating at the return of the hit show on June 28.
And as we await this year’s final line-up of love-hungry singletons, we take a look at why the show always includes someone with celebrity connections.
From Tommy Fury, brother of boxing champ Tyson, or Dani Dyer, daughter of iconic EastEnders actor Danny, there’s always some in the villa with a link to a celeb...
Dani Dyer
She followed her famous dad into the TV world when she appeared on 2018's Survival of the Fittest and later that year won Love Island with former flame Jack Fincham.

Dani has since co-presented the MTV series True Love or True Lies with her dad - and also starred with him as a cab driver in his day job on hit BBC show EastEnders.
The duo also co-host a popular Spotify podcast, aptly-titled Sorted with the Dyers, based on Danny’s legendary catchphrase “sorted”.
But Dani revealed that her dad was not happy about her going on the ITV2 dating series and they didn’t speak for weeks before she went on.

The former dental nurse admitted on the pair’s podcast: “You hated me.”
Danny stressed: “I didn't hate you, I never hated you ever."
And Dani added: "He didn't like me. We didn't really talk. It was very awkward. Oh my god, I'd walk into the room and it would be so awkward."
"No we didn't talk," Danny confessed. "I think I was upset because we were very close and you'd spoke about it to everyone, I was the last f***er."
Tommy Fury
Boxer Tommy has a very famous sibling, heavyweight champion Tyson.
The 22-year-old hit the big time after starring in the 2019 series of the show, one in which he got together with fellow contestant Molly-Mae Hague.
Despite their doubters, the couple are still together today and while Molly is big on social media, Tommy is following in his older brother’s footsteps as a successful professional boxer.

And from the very start of his career the Manchester-born reality TV star has been at pains to stress that he doesn’t want to live on Tyson’s worldwide success.
"I'm my own man and I've said it throughout my whole boxing career,” stressed Tommy in an interview.
“I don't want to be labelled as his little brother, I'm my own man and I'm doing the best that I can do in life and that's all I'm setting out to achieve."
Paige Turley

The Glaswegian babe famously dated singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi before becoming one the of the islanders in the last series of the hit ITV2 show.
The former teenage Britain’s Got Talent star, now aged 23, dated award-winning Lewis on and off from 2014 to 2016 after hooking up at college in Motherwell.
Paige mentioned Lewis on a number of occasions whilst in the villa and it was rumoured his song Someone You Love is about her, although he's since clarified it isn't.
She won Winter Love Island 2020 with beau Finley Tapp.
Paige has since attracted 1.8million Instagram admirers and now models lingerie, clothes and various other merchandise for a string of high-profile companies.
She and Lewis remain on good terms and he revealed that he text Paige to congratulate her on winning the show and she congratulated him on his Brits’ success.
But he also admitted he was dumped in a horrible way by Paige and revealed his song Hold Me While You Wait is about her.
He recalled: “It’s a song about a lady who I was in a relationship with. And it was going smooth, as smooth as you can imagine, as smooth as a ski slope.
"And one day, she said, 'Lewis, can I have a quick word?' And I said, 'Of course, my darling. What is it?'"
He continued: "And she said to me, 'Lewis … slight issue with me and you as a couple. I find you revolting in every way possible, and you are really a disgusting human being. And I would like to leave you, effective immediately'."
Curtis Prichard

2010 star Curtis’ brother AJ had already found fame as a professional on Strictly Come Dancing before he made his name in the villa.
Curtis had starred in Ireland’s Dancing with the Stars prior to getting his big break, but it was his relationship with fellow contestant Maura Higgins which saw the dancer a regular on the celeb circuit.
He and his brother have since choreographed BBC Three reality series RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Curtis has starred as a receptionist in The Greatest Dancer.
Curtis, who now boasts 1.3million Instagram followers has also appeared in Celebs Go Dating and comedy show Stand Up and Deliver.
And both brothers have also starred in Channel 4 show Hollyoaks and share a podcast together called AJ v Curtis.
Sophie Piper
The half-sister of This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes, Sophie also had a celeb link before entering the villa.
The medical PA turned reality TV star and model heralds from Essex and was coupled up with two boys in the villa before being dumped in week four.
Sophie is a successful influencer and often treats her 757k Insta fans to snaps of herself modelling bikinis for brands such as Boohoo and sexy outfits for various other companies.
Belle Hassan

Belle's dad is the well-known actor Tamer Hassan, credited for his roles in films The Football Factory and The Business, as well as appearing in Game of Thrones.
The blonde bombshell once said of her famous dad: “He is my link to the famous world.
"He is a very supportive dad, he is like my best friend and is always there for me.”
She hooked up with Anton Danyluk in the villa but the pair split soon, with Belle reportedly fed up with his partying ways.
Mike Boateng

Former police officer Mike saw his brother Samuel star on BBC’s The Apprentice before he branched into reality TV.
He used to be a professional footballer for Sheffield United but is now a successful social media influencer, working with a number of different branks and promoting products to his 421k Insta fans.
Sibling Samuel manages Mike’s social media accounts with his twin Andrew.

In 2019, he told The Guardian that “a lack of recognised black businessmen was one of the reasons” he applied to be on the Apprentice.
Samira Mighty

Samira famously dated Hollywood heartthrob Chris Pine before starring on the show.
"I went to the GQ Man of the Year after party, and I thought I recognised this guy,” recalled Samira, in an interview with Digital Spy.
“I knew him from the Disney Channel. I thought, 'My God, he was in that movie with Lindsay Lohan,' and he kind of moved to me and I thought, 'He seems fun, he seems cool.'"

The pair swapped numbers and went on a swanky date at Soho Hotel, but didn't take their romance any further.
The former West End theatre star now has 833k Insta followers and has forged a successful modelling and social media career.
Laura Anderson

The former air hostess dated Another Level singer Dane prior to entering the villa, but split to find love.
However the pair are now back together and living in Dubai.
Sitting on Dane's lap at the helm of a boat with her hand in his, Laura looked sensational in a neon pink bikini with the crystal clear waters providing the perfect background in a recent social media snap.
Captioning the post she shared with her 1.4m Insta followers, the reality TV star wrote: "Caption Bowers at my service."
The glam snap was met with a wave of approval including Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison who replied saying: "You two" followed by a love emoji.
