Love Island star's huge career change revealed three years after finding love in the villa

Former Love Islander Priscilla Anyabu's huge career change three years after heading into the villa has been revealed.

The 28-year-old beauty headed into the Love Island villa in South Africa during the winter series of the show in 2020.

She met and fell for Mike Boateng, but the pair sadly split after 15 months together.

Three years on from appearing on the ITV2 dating show, Priscilla's career has taken a very different but exciting turn.

The former reality star has now turned her hand to broadcasting, where she presents for BET.

Priscilla recently put on a stunning display in a vibrant pink two-piece outfit while hosting on the pink carpet of the BET Awards 2023 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

In a video posted on her Instagram story, the former Love Islander wore an eye-catching pink crop top with puff sleeves and a low neckline, which she wore with a matching asymmetric skirt with ruffles on the trim.

Priscilla looked at ease as she interviewed Davido, T.I, Bow Wow, Ja Rule, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and many more.

She was also reunited with fellow former Islander Jourdan Raine, who appeared in the 2019 series of the show.

As Priscilla posted snaps and video highlights of her hosting on the BET Awards, she was flooded with praise from her followers.

One wrote: "So well deserved".

Another added: "Soooo proud of you babe! Keep smashing it. And this fit".

"Yesss Pris!! Well done babe," another gushed.

Priscilla and Mike finished in fifth place on the fifth series of Love Island in 2020. They continued their romance for 15 months before later parting ways.

Fans speculated they had split as they unfollowed one another on Instagram.

An insider later revealed they had parted ways as they told Mail Online at the time: "Mike and Priscilla made the most out of their relationship and supported each other throughout their time post-villa and during lockdown.

"But it's not worked out between them – and they've now decided they're better off as friends."

Following her time on the show, Priscilla appeared in a Channel 4 documentary about being on the ITV2 dating show called Life After Love Island: UNTOLD.

In the documentary, she said: "I thought everything was going to come to me naturally.

"And coming out of Love Island, I had my manager but we wanted agents and stuff – no one was looking for me, like, no one was checking for me.

"I tried it was like they didn't even want to have conversations with me."

She continued: "I was like, 'Maybe it's my followers, maybe it's my skin colour'. I felt so small. They don't see us as the face. They love the culture but they really and truly don't. love us."

However, the star's career has since turned out to be an incredibly successful one since taking part in the 2022 documentary.
