An Airdrie beauty salon has been praised for “working wonders” by its new star client – Love Island winner Paige Turley.
The 22-year-old was crowned as the winner of the ITV hit’s first winter series two weeks ago, along with partner Finn Tapp.
Following her return from filming in South Africa, Paige headed for Koven salon in Airdrie town centre for a fresh colour and a new set of long locks.
Koven posted two pictures and a short video clip on Instagram, saying of their special guest’s hair extensions: “About time we freshened this up seven months later!” – with Paige replying: “You have worked wonders!”
The salon’s staff had got behind her during her stint on Love Island, with social media posts declaring themselves in support of “Team Paige”.
Paige, of West Lothian, became the show’s first Scottish winner when she and Finn claimed the £50,000 top prize.
