Love Island star Jack Fincham questioned by police in car park at 5am

Jack Fincham was questioned by police at around 5am in a car park after they received a call that he was behaving strangely.

The former Love Island winner was seen speaking to four police officers before his family arrived to take him home.

Before they arrived he had been observed in a car park at the rear of a row of houses five miles away from his family home in Kent.

Fincham, who won reality show Love Island in 2018 alongside Dani Dyer, can be seen in pictures looking bemused as police detain him.

As reported by The Mirror, the incident occurred last Sunday, just days before it was publicised that he had split up with his girlfriend Frankie Sims of The Only Way Is Essex fame.

The Met said: “Police were called at 5.18am to reports of a man acting suspiciously.

"Officers attended and detained a man.

"No offences had been committed.

"He was collected by his family.”

One local said: “I have no idea why he was there.

“I only realised who it was after Googling.”

Fincham's representatives declined to comment.

However, a source said: “I’m sure if Jack wishes to take to social media and explain the situation he will.”

Nine days prior he had been posting pictures of himself soaking up the sun in Ibiza.

On Friday he uploaded one in the sunshine with the caption: “Reflecting on things.”

The news of his split with Frankie came just hours after his ex Dani Dyer, 24, dumped her conman boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, who was jailed for swindling two pensioners.

A former stationery sales manager, Jack shot to fame in 2018 after he and Dani were crowned Love Island winners.

He became a dad with “great friend” Casey Ranger in January 2020.

Last November he was injured in a car smash outside a pub in Dartford, which saw his £35,000 Mercedes written off.
