A Love Island 2017 star was rushed to hospital after she was in a serious car accident.

Chloe Crowhurst, 24, told her fans she was in a “lot of pain and distress” after an accident on Wednesday morning.

From the hospital, the TV personality shared a photograph of herself in a gown with her 287k following.

The Love Island star revealed she had been discharged from hospital via her Instagram stories.

She wrote on Instagram: “Hi guys, I’ve just been collected from hospital due to being in a serious car accident.

“I won’t be responding to anyone until I can. I am in a lot of pain and distress.”

Chloe made a name for herself in the spotlight on the 2017 summer series of Love Island.

During the show, she had a brief romance with Sam Gowland but their relationship didn’t last in the outside world.

Previously, the beauty had connections in fame - having dated TOWIE star Jon Clark and later they rekindled their romance.

In January, Chloe claimed Love Island bosses turned up at her workplace to beg her to appear on the show.

At first, she initially turned down the TV offer before having a change of heart, quitting her job and packing her bag for the flight.

She said on Celebrity Skin Talk: “I didn’t want to do it, but the producers was turning up at my work asking me to do it, and I kept saying no, then after my ex was cheating and I was getting messages from people. I was in the right headspace to do it.”

“But I called the producers 3 hours before the flight, quit my job and they was at my house packing my bags for me before I even go home.

“I had no underwear packed or bikinis.”

The new series of Love Island starts on Monday 28 June.
