Love Island star heads to Manchester to plan house move after love split

Love Island star Georgia Steel has been spotted furniture shopping in Greater Manchester.

There was talk that Georgia, originally from York, was planning on moving to Manchester from Essex before she split from her fiance Callum Izzard.

Georgia and Callum, from Manchester, were reportedly flat hunting together, but after their break-up during lockdown she was planning to move up north alone.

It was put on hold because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but seems the move is now back on track for the 22-year-old reality star, who appeared in the fourth series of the ITV2 reality series Love Island in 2018, after she was seen at Honey I'm Home in Leigh.

Georgia has showcased the preparations for her house move including containers to organise the contents of her cupboards to make it easier for them to be transferred.

"Just want to be on top of everything prior to moving," she said on her Instagram Stories.

Holding a tape measure she tagged Honey I'm Home as she said she was getting measurements for her new home.

Series favourite Georgia is famous for repeatedly proclaiming herself “loyal” on the ITV2 dating show set in Mallorca.

She coupled up with Sam Bird on the show after being left heartbroken by Josh Denzel when he was tempted away by Kazimir Crossley in rival villa Casa Amor.

Georgia won an army of fans with her dignified behaviour as Josh strolled back to the main villa with his new lady, and she later had chance to get revenge when she raised Josh’s heart rate more than Kaz with a saucy dance challenge dressed in a carnival outfit with feathery headdress.

After hitting it off with Sam, the pair suffered a blow when they were voted the least compatible couple and were given the choice of leaving the island or coupling with new arrivals.

They eventually decided it would be impossible to find romance with someone else and decided to leave the show. She and Sam were eventually eliminated on Day 47 and in October 2018 it was revealed that they had split.

The following year Georgia appeared in the sixth series of dating reality series Celebs Go Dating.
