Love Island star Greg O'Shea doesn't like using dating apps and says people should 'meet organically'

Love Island winner Greg O'Shea has revealed that he does not like using dating apps to find romance.

The Limerick man was asked to offer dating advice to fans while attending the National Ploughing Championships in Co Carlow.

RTE presenter Brenda Donohue asked O'Shea, 24, and GAA pundit Marty Morrissey for their dating top tips.

Greg said that he doesn't like using dating apps to meet women and likes to meet "organically".

He said: "One big one, for me anyway, is to stay away from the online apps - Tinder, Bumble and all that - and just meet someone organically.

"It's very rare to walk up to a woman nowadays and actually strike up a conversation and ask her on a date so that's what I'd say to everyone."

Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on Tuesday, the Rugby star said he "knows what actually happened" in his controversial split with Amber Gill.

The pair dramatically split just weeks after winning the hit reality TV show.

He told RTE Radio One: "Amber's doing great stuff over in the UK, I can be happy with myself that I know the truth and I know what's happened.

I'm not going to badmouth her, she's got great stuff going on, and I can be happy with myself, my friends and family knowing what actually happened.

"She can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best of luck she's a great woman."
