Love Island star Faye Winter tracks down internet troll's mum and shows 'horrendous' messages

A Love Island star has taken to social media to share her ordeal of being "horrendously" trolled online.

Faye Winter, who was a contestant on Season 7 of the ITV2 hit show, told her followers that she had sent screenshots of one troll's remarks to his mum, rugby club and employer.

In an Instagram story, Faye, from Devon, said: "So today I got trolled horrendously by someone I don't know. Which is great, said some awful things. So what do I do? I go on your page, I find your mum, I screenshot your messages and send them to her so she can be proud of the boy, the little little boy she bought up."

Devon Live reports that she added, in a first video: "I also sent it to your rugby club. And I've also sent it to your employer. Don't f*** with me.."

Winter, who has 1.2 million followers on the platform, did not name or shame the individual. The video was uploaded during the day, clear in the background that she was clothes shopping at the time.

She updated people shortly after with the following: "Oh no, not me being blocked by your mum. Sorry, you embarrassed by your son hon?

"Don't worry his employer got it and as well as that, hope he gets sent to bed with no tea tonight and his PlayStation taken off him. I'm sure he won't have clean sheets probably hasn't changed them in a month. Have fun kid."
