Love Island star ditches glitzy showbiz lifestyle to retrain for unexpected new career

Former Love Island star Molly Smith is ditching showbiz for a brand-new career, three years after shooting to fame on the ITV2 dating show.

Appearing on Love Island as a Casa Amor bombshell during the first Winter series back in 2020, Molly became an instant hit with viewers for her down to earth personality and her gorgeous looks - which were often compared to Love Island royalty, Molly-Mae Hague.

However, after discovering all that the showbiz world has to offer, Molly, 29, is now retraining to become a personal trainer.

The blonde bombshell is currently said to be doing exams and hopes to be qualified in the very near future.

Before appearing on Love Island, Molly worked as a model for huge brands including ASOS and Boohoo, and she also had huge success as an influencer.

However, in recent years, fitness has become a huge passion for the star, and it is now something which she wants to focus her career on.

“Molly has always loved fitness and she’s decided she wants to turn her hobby into a job,“ a source told The Sun.

“She is a natural trainer and can’t wait to get started helping other people feel as good as her.”

Molly sent shockwaves in the Love Island villa back in 2020 when she managed to turn Callum Jones' head in Casa Amor - despite him telling his then love interest, Shaughna Phillips, that he only had eyes for her.

Despite the drama caused at the time, Molly and Callum have proved that their love is real as they are still together and look very much in love to this day.

Molly and Callum not only live together in Manchester, they also share two dogs together and have cemented their lives together since falling head over heels for one another three years ago on Love Island.

Speaking recently about their romance, Callum gushed: “We are perfect.

“We've got two dogs so we've got a proper little family going, it's lovely.

“We're just enjoying things that we've got at the minute and then family and marriage will eventually come into it.“
