The connection between Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins began months ago and is a further snub to Amy Hart.
Air stewardess Amy was left heartbroken by Curtis dumping her in the Love Island villa.
She was further devastated that Maura then looked to crack on with him 'before her bed was cold'.
Now it seems that Amy would have struggled to have completely won the heart of professional dancer Curtis, as he had been flirting with Maura for months and had told her that she was "stunning".
The 23-year-old ballroom dancer had sent the Irish grid girl a private message on Instagram back in November, saying "you're stunning" after scrolling through her photos.
At the time though, Curtis was left wanting as Maura ignored his advances but it is another snub for rejected Amy, who said that Curtis 'rarely paid her compliments'.
While 28-year-old Maura has had a change of heart and now finds Curtis "manly" and has admitted to fancying him from the moment she entered the villa as a bombshell.
Curtis has been quick to tell a number of islanders that they were 'attractive and beautiful'.
This has grated on Amy, who has learned the devastating truth since leaving the villa that Curtis was never really that into her.
Speaking to The Sun, Amy said: "I’m not sure if Curtis ever found me attractive and he didn’t often pay me compliments."
This was heartbreakingly confirmed when she got her phone back. Amy confirmed: "I know he won’t ever ask for me back and I found out when I got my phone back he apparently said he didn’t find me attractive."
Curtis is now the subject of a love triangle in the villa as he finds himself as the object of desire from Maura and new girl Francesca Allen, who chose him when a recoupling happened on Thursday.
