Connor Durnam, 25, is already coupled up on Love Island with Sophie Piper, 21, and his ex-girlfriend Stevie Leigh-Pich has shared her heartache over him moving on.
Stevie hinted that she and the Love Island hopeful were together a week before he entered the villa in a post on her Instagram stories when the show launched on Sunday night.
In a lengthy statement, she told how she is 'trying to deal with getting over someone she loves' and how she is 'hurting more than she ever imagined.'
She wrote: "I don’t want anything to do with press or stories about Love Island. I’m not involved, I am trying to deal and get over someone who I love in the spot light.
"It’s not even hit me that it’s real I wish it wasn’t but it is and I feel like I need to share this.
"I never wanted Connor to look bad because he is not but I can’t get my head around him seeing me.
"I spoke to him last week why couldn’t he just tell me and say I can’t change his mind.
"I found out the most awful way my friend woke me up crying saying i’m so sorry and do you know what I’m fucming [sic] sorry. I’m hurting more than anyone could ever imagine.
"I love Connor even after all this. And to watch him be with another girl makes me SICK.
"I’m sorry but I’m going through a very hard time and having to get over someone I spoke to last week nobody can understand how I feel like really. I just wanna set it straight That I know we’re over and it’s done."
Viewers named Connor a 'brat with no banter' on Sunday night's episode of Love Island.
He was given the name after viewers saw Connor react badly to one of Sophie Piper's jokes.
The Brighton native got into a bit of a strop and accused the brunette beauty of 'digging' him out.
"What's up with this dude. He's a full on brat with no banter" wrote one highly confused fan wrote on Twitter .
While another wrote: "Connor is a bit of a tool isn't he?".
