Love Island star broke down in tears and stopped eating over 'licked her t**' incident

Former Love Island star Coco Lodge has claimed she had a "meltdown" after her Casa Amor antics with Andrew Le Page.

The 28-year-old influencer has claimed that she broke down in tears and didn’t eat for two days over the ordeal, after was rejected by the real estate agent.

Their short-lived romance started in Casa Amor - the show’s loyalty test designed to tempt contestants away from their couples.

The series saw Andrew, 27, - who was coupled up with Tasha Ghouri, 24 - having quite possibly the most awkward conversation ever aired on television with his partner on the show.

Andrew told Tasha that he'd "licked her t** or whatever" as he revealed that he had been intimate with Coco in Casa Amor.

In a new interview with MailOnline , Coco said: “With the whole 't**' thing… I was so upset. I felt like I had been pied off and before I went into the villa I had just got out of this awful relationship, which had broken down my self-esteem.

“It was a trauma response [to] how upset I was. I was crying loads and they kept taking me out to talk to me. I hadn't eaten in two days and they said to me, ‘no more being a sad b****, you have to be a bad b****.’ That's what the producer kept saying to me… And tell everyone exactly what Andrew has done,” she claimed of the show’s bosses.

A source close to the show told Mirror: "No producer would have said that. Islanders make connections during their time on the show and we watched along as Coco explored hers with Andrew."

Coco continued with her scathing claims, alleging that the producers encouraged her to be a "bad b****", which caused members of the public to dislike her and troll her online.

She also claimed that bosses of the series never showed her vulnerable side when she was "literally having a meltdown" to play into the love triangle between her, Andrew and Tasha.

The former Islander also added that those that hosted the series didn't allow her to wear a swimsuit during the opening Casa Amor scene, leading her to feel uncomfortable whilst being portrayed on screen as she was allegedly made to wear a bikini.

An ITV spokesperson said: "Islanders are never told what to wear. The decisions they make and connections they form are theirs and theirs alone."
