Love Island's Brad McClelland made waves on the ITV dating show the moment he flashed his megawatt smile, but the labourer unwittingly sealed his own fate and early exit by making a beeline for Lucinda.
The pair were voted the least compatible couple by the public and in scenes which shocked the Islanders, it was Brad who volunteered to go back to the UK, leaving bombshell Lucinda to slay another day.
The labourer from Northumberland, who lives with his 75-year-old gran, has amassed more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and regularly treats his fans to snaps chronicling his life in his beloved hometown of Amble.
Brad clearly loves to work out and revealed it took him just over two months to get ripped before going on the ITV show.
Showing off all of this hard work he captioned the photos: "Well the last 10 weeks have been hard but been well worth it! @aestheticallytrained proving again that his programming is top class! #training.’
Not missing an opportunity to show off his physique, the hunk also posts pics from far flung locations including the beautiful islands of the Bahamas.
With one picture which showed him sporting some rather short shorts, he wrote: "The greatest freedom is to be free from your own mind", to which one replied: "Very deep young Obi Wan."
The uncle-of-two also likes to get out and about in the UK and can often be seen hiking up hill and down dale in a series of shots that wouldn't look out of place in National Geographic magazine.
Sharing a snap of a stunning landscape with himself clad in hiking gear Brad mused: "Great to get out and appreciate what’s around us."
While he may appreciate what's around him, Brad has previously said he'd "never find a girlfriend" in Amble.
The small town is around an hour's drive from Newcastle and has a population of around 6,000.
When he went on his first date with love interest Lucinda, which he also admitted was actually his first ever date the star opened up about his luck with girls at home.
As the two sat opposite each other drinking Champagne, Brad said he wasn't optimistic of finding "the one" on home turf.
He told her: "They don't drink Champagne in Amble. A lot of people I know in Amble never get out and they only know Amble," to which Lucinda joked: "Amble sounds like the place!"
While he may not drink Champagne in Amble ,Brad loves to consume coffee and revealed he likes nothing better than going for a latte with his mates on the weekend - but always in the same coffee shop.
Each boy even takes it in turns to bake a cake.
Brad and his beloved gran Joyce have lived together since his mother Kimberley moved to Tyneside when Brad was a child.
Joyce previously told The Mirror: "Me and Brad are like mother and son. He sometimes calls me Mother and I like that.
"It’s just been me in the house for a long time now and we get along together very well.
"His mum came to see me and she was pretty shocked to find he’d gone on Love Island as well.
"They’re in touch and get on fine, but I think I’ve been more like a mother to him most of his life."
Joyce had never even heard of the show until her clean-living grandson told her he’d been chosen as one of the 11 contestants.
"I said, ‘Well, that’s nice, son’, but I hadn’t a clue what he was talking about. I’d never heard of it,” she said.
"I bet those lasses will love him because he’s the kindest, nicest lad they’ll ever have met.”
