Love Island star Anton Danyluk stunned passers-by in Hamilton as he turned up to ‘work’ in a new restaurant.
Pepe’s Piri Piri is set to open its doors tomorrow (Thursday) on Cadzow Gait, Low Waters Road.
And reality TV star Anton popped in for a look around.
The restaurant will have seating for 30-plus customers and also incorporate a delivery plan across Hamilton.
And it has also created 25 new jobs in the town.
A spokesman for the franchise said: “Pepe’s, the home of fresh flame-grilled chicken, is the up-and-coming restaurant in the UK and we are delighted to be opening in Hamilton this week.
“The restaurant looks fab and our grand opening day planned for customers and staff looks set to go down a treat in the town, with people keen to come along for a look. Of course Anton is a big fan of our chicken and he promises tro come back to our restaurnat soon to meet the customers.
“I’m sure Pepe’s will create a real buzz in Hamilton.”
Gym owner Anton, of Airdrie, shot to fame during the summer when he appeared on hit ITV show Love Island, the popular islander, narrowly missing out on a place in this year’s final with then partner Belle Hassan.
Anton told the Advertiser this week: “I am delighted that Pepe's has come to Hamilton. I personally really enjoy the food and I’m sure the local residents will too – for a post-workout meal you can’t really beat it!”
Meanwhile, this week from Thursday to Sunday, restaurant owner Aamir Ali is offering customers 20 per cent off their order as a special opening weekend deal.
