Scots Love Island star Anton Danyluk 'lucky to be alive' after car crash

Love Island star Anton Danyluk shared a photo of his wrecked car admitting he feels 'lucky to be alive' after collision with a bus in Dubai.

Anton appeared on the fourth season of the hit ITV show, and has since decided to ditch his famous lifestyle to focus on his fitness instead.

He will be competing in his first bodybuilding competition next month, and was straight back to training for the competition after his traumatic crash.

After the crash, Anton explained what happened on his Instagram: "Guys I've had loads of messages asking if I'm okay, I'm absolutely fine.

"So basically last night when I was driving home from the gym, a bus came across me, I've had a lot of messages people know what it's like.

"The guys who drive in Dubai are just always in a rush to get places and basically a bus came across me and he's braked hard because he's went over a speed bump.

"Then I've went into the side of the back of him, and I don't know how I'm okay - air bags are obviously a good thing.

"But yeah, I'm okay. We move, car's damaged but obviously it's a rental anyway so it doesn't really matter.

"Wouldn't matter anyway, main thing is that I'm okay so thank you for the love."

The Scottish heartthrob has been documenting this lifestyle change on his Instagram on a series titled 'Love Island to bodybuilder'.

He said at the time: "I've got a big announcement, I'm going be competing in my first ever bodybuilding competition on the 14th of November in the men's physique category in Birmingham. It's the PCA first timers.

"I'm super excited about this. I've loved bodybuilding from a young age.

"The last few years with all the reality, 'celebrity' if you want to call it lifestyle I've not been able to take my fitness as seriously as I like so I'm ditching that life and getting back into the fitness and taking it 100% serious.

"I'm gonna be documenting the full eight week prep, this is the first episode of the series."
