Love Island star Anna Vakili admits being fat shamed by online trolls after leaving the villa

Love Island star Anna Vakili admits being targeted by fat shamers since leaving the villa.

The 29-year-old was branded as this year’s “plus size” contestant due to her hourglass figure.

However, she has a strikingly small waistline and a washboard stomach, and is a dress size 10-12.

Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women, Anna admitted that she was still being targeted by trolls who have resorted to fat shaming her, being branded “a whale”, “a fat mess” and “obese”.

The pharmacist said: “I was actually prepared for it going in [to the villa] coz I knew that that’s an easy thing to say because compared to the other girls, I am a bit bigger than them, so it’s the easy thing to say”.

Anna joined this year's Love Island line-up and was presented as the show's 'plus-size' contestant (ITV)

Coleen Nolan interjected “Well, it’s a stupid thing to say”, as she looked admiringly as Anna’s stunning curves.

The 54-year-old added: “It shows how brainless they are”.

Anna also revealed during her Loose Women interview that Jordan Hames had tried to flirt with her at the show's finale wrap party.

The pair left on very frosty terms not long before the final after Jordan tried to crack on with fellow model India Reynolds days after making Anna his girlfriend.

Love Island star Anna Vakili opened up on ITV's lunchtime show Loose Women (ITV)

Anna revealed that while she and Jordan were now on good terms, she couldn't help get revenge and make the cheeky revelation.

She said: "We just have to be civil, you know? I don't think we'll be friends but we're just civil."

Discussing Jordan's 'cheating' in the villa, she added: "He's said sorry to me a few times since then.

"Even last night he said sorry to me again... he was a bit flirty!"
