Love Island star Alex Miller has said he considered suicidal behaviour after his mental health deteriorated in the wake of the show.
Glazier Alex was on last year's show, but left before the final after Megan dumped him for Wes in the villa.
He's now revealed he struggled with his newfound fame, and was in a deep depression by the winter, Mirror Online reports , before talking to a psychiatrist helped him work out how to move forward with his life.
After Love Island, the work dried up and Alex had to go back to his old job.
At one point Alex, 28, considered putting his life in jeopardy.

During an appearance on Access All Areas with Lizzie Cundy and Stephen Leng, he said: "I did go through a dark patch where I would look at bridges and think ‘Yeah, I could drive into that’.
“ I was in a dark place [after the show]. It was winter time, there was a lot of factors coming up, knowing that everything was sort of coming to an end, like getting back into the old routine in the job."
When asked if his depression was linked to Love Island, he said: "It was going back into the reality bit of - this is what I am back into now.
"Everything has died a death, you’ve fallen off the cliff of reality fame. It’s not what it is cracked up to be.”
However, Alex revealed one of the show's producers got in touch with him and asked him to see a therapist after seeing a worrying rant on Instagram.

He said: "I had a little rant on Instagram. I went through a bit of a dark patch and luckily one of the producers follow me on Instagram saw the rant got in touch with me and put me back in touch with a psychiatrist.
“Looking back, all I needed to do was be forward and go talk to them. ”
Alex says the therapy helped and he's trying to move on with his life.
The telly star added: "I didn’t want to talk to anyone about it, but after having ranted after answering a fan's questions and speaking to the Love Island psychiatrist, it got me through it and gave me a plan on how to take my life forward and now we’re here. We’re all good!”
On Saturday Mike Thalassitis was found dead in woods near his home in Essex, leading to an outpouring of grief from his friends and fellow reality stars.
But Alex went on to insist Love Island should not be blamed for Mike's death.
He insisted: “They can’t be pro-active all the time and keep chasing and keep chasing.
“There are so many contestants, it’s impossible for them to do.”
