Love Island spoiler: Shock as multiple couples at risk of dumping tonight in brutal twist

Multiple couples are at risk of being dumped from the Love Island villa tonight in another shock twist.

The islanders are left gasping in tense new scenes to air tonight, as a bombshell text sends shockwaves through the villa.

Just days after Rachel Finni was dumped in the recoupling, another dumping twist is announced, with it appearing at least one couple could be axed on the spot.

As the Islanders are called to gather at the fire pit, Liberty receives a text which reads: “Islanders. The public have been voting for the couple that they think is the most compatible.

"Those with the fewest votes risk being dumped tonight. Please all stand up.”

(ITV)

Viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couples at the end of Monday night's show.

Tonight, the Islanders receive texts which reveal the four couples who received the most votes from the public, and are therefore safe.

However, the three couples with the fewest votes are left standing.

But what will be their fate tonight?

It comes just a day after a reshuffling with the existing couples, and the dumping of bombshell arrival Rachel.

New boy Teddy Soares chose to pair up with Faye Winter, sending Rachel packing - after her original partner Brad ditched her for new girl Lucinda Strafford.

(ITV)

The only couple that stayed together in the latest recoupling was Liberty and Jake, with every other boy choosing a different girl to pair up with.

There are also two friendship couples, with Aaron and Kaz and Sharon and Hugo no doubt worrying this might put them at risk of leaving.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
