Love Island featured its first recoupling of sorts, as bombshells Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard were forced to pick a girl to pair up with.
In the process, two of the boys were ditched, leaving them at risk of leaving the villa.
Tommy immediately made a play for Lucie Donlan and Amber Gill, Curtis shared his interest in Amy Hart.
As the episode came to a dramatic close, Curtis was first to reveal who he had chosen.
There was relief amongst viewers as he chose Amy, ditching Anton Danyluk a day after he appeared to set his eyes on another girl.
But next up was Tommy, and viewers couldn't help be left furious with his decision.
As he stepped up to the fire pit in front of the islanders, he confirmed he would be picking Lucie.
Everyone was stunned, with Joe clearly very worried about what it meant for his potential romance with Lucie.
Lucie joined Tommy who was clearly unsure about what he'd just done, having seen Joe's reaction.
Taking to Twitter , viewers were unsure if they could get over the twist as many slammed the boxer.
One fan said: "HE'S DONE IT AS WELL!!! NOOOO I LOVED LUCIE AND JOE."
A third commented: "Wow TOMMY JUST DID THAT. Soz I don’t like Tommy anymore," as a fourth said: "Bro code is clearly non existent."
