Love Island 2019 fans might have thought they knew who liked who in the villa, but there’s another surprise in the latest episode of the ITV2 series.
While Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard were the first couple to begin to fall for each other, refusing to let their heads be turned, some of the islanders aren’t quite settled yet.
Sherif and Anna finally look set to form a romance, after days of Anna being left unsure about how she feels about him.
Anton Danyluk even made a play for her, while he’s now hoping to secure things with new girl Molly-Mae, who’s partnered up with Tommy Fury.
Tommy himself has just left one love triangle with Joe and Lucie, and could be headed for another as the islanders battle it out for survival after Callum’s recent departure from the villa.
But now, another couple could be rising from potentially nowhere, as Michael reveals his attraction to fellow singleton Amber.
Michael is currently with Yewande, but they see each other as brother and sister, while Amber is only with Anton because they’re mates.
In Sunday’s episode, Michael sets the scene for a potential future pairing with the Geordie lass, and she seems pretty keen too.
It comes as new boy Danny arrives and takes Yewande out for a date.
As Michael and Amber sit down for a chat, he tells her he wants to get to know her a little more.
She agrees, and it’s clear she fancies the firefighter as she admits in the Beach Hut: “Michael is a nice-looking boy, I can’t deny that.”
Michael also gets something off his chest in the hut, revealing: “Amber is fit and she is a very funny girl.
“I don’t really know what she thinks about me but I do feel like there is a bit of an attraction there. I do think she actually likes me. But we’ll just have to wait and see.”
