Love Island Scot Shannon Singh 'kicked off at producers over alcohol ban'

Love Island star Shannon Singh is said to have 'kicked off' with producers over alcohol before entering the villa.

The Fife -born reality star, 22, was on the show for just two days before she was brutally dumped and told to pack her bags following the first recoupling of the series.

In an interview with Closer, fellow contestant Sharon Gaffka opened up about the two-week quarantine period before entering the villa and the initial alcohol ban.

She said the isolation period, which sees contestants locked in a villa with a chaperone, was made better when booze was introduced.

But Sharon, who was recently dumped from the island, revealed it was actually Shannon who demanded they be allowed to drink after 'kicking off'.

She said: "My chaperone and I got on really well. It was better when we were allowed alcohol. I was drinking alcohol and watching the Euros."

Explaining how they were only allowed booze a week into the quarantine period, she added: "That was Shannon. [She] kicked off and was like 'I'm not doing this, if we're not allowed alcohol', so yeah, we were allowed it halfway through."

Shannon previously spoke of her shock Love Island exit after just two days.

She told Go Radio: "I think 'What was the point of putting someone in for that short time?' It was unnecessary."

She conceded: "You need need to take the small things. I got a few things out of it."

Ahead of the show, she said she was locked in a villa for 15 nights with 'someone you don't know'.

After the show, Shannon went into another three nights of lockdown.

She admitted at being angry at being kicked off the show so early, explaining: "When I was in the changing rooms and packing stuff back up I was fuming."

"It was kind of a mortified rage. It was really unexpected from every single angle.

"Me and Liberty were looking at each other thinking surely it isn't real."
