Love Island Scot Shannon Singh accuses Sharon of 'clutching at straws' over new feelings for Hugo

Love Island Scot has accused Sharon of ‘clutching at straws’ after she admitted having new feelings for Hugo.

The pair were initially together at the beginning of the programme, before their spark quickly vanished.

But last night’s show saw Sharon express that there may be something there after Hugo saved her from being dumped from the villa on Monday.

The 25-year-old told fellow islander Kaz that sharing a bed with the PE teacher is “very different”.

But fans of the ITV2 show were left baffled by this new information as the pair previously fell out after Hugo admitted that he didn’t like “fake” girls - which came moments after Sharon said she had lip fillers and a boob job.

Now ex-Love Island star and Fife influencer Shannon Singh has weighed in.

Writing on Twitter, she said: “This all of a sudden Sharon and Hugo is soooooo strange, she’s clutching at straws.”

Hugo and Sharon were one of three couples to receive a low number of votes in the most recent public vote.

All of the islanders received texts which revealed who had received the most votes from the public and therefore safe.

Brad and Lucinda finished at the bottom, leaving them with a tough task of deciding which one should leave the villa.

Viewers will find out tonight which will one will join Shannon in an exit from the show.

The 22-year-old Scot was the first to leave this year’s edition of Love Island after spending just 48 hours on the programme.

It has been speculated that Shannon will eventually return, with many fans hoping to see her appear in Casa Amor later in the series.
