Love Island's Zara McDermott has called time on her fling with Olly Murs .
The 22-year-old claims to have dumped the 34-year-old singer because she was worried her other potential admirers would think she was off the market.
Zara, who previously dated her Love Island castmate Adam Collard , said that there was much more interest from Olly's side and that the 12-year-age gap was too much.
She complained in an interview with the Sun : "He’s a lot older than me though.
"I feel really annoyed now because it’s awkward. Everyone thinks I’m dating bloody Olly Murs."
Olly had been spotted taking a keen interest in Zara on Instagram , liking and commenting on her sexy pictures.
Before long according to Zara she had been invited down to The Voice studio by the singer for a look backstage.
But their short-lived romance was not meant to be as according to Zara she no longer wanted to be linked to Olly.

The pair had rumoured to be 'secretly dating' after bumping into each other on a night out in Essex, and reportedly enjoyed a few dates.
But for Zara it just wasn't meant to be.
"Imagine my ideal man wants to slide into my DMs but they think I’m with Olly. It’s not ideal," she moaned.

Zara said of the fling: "I sing and play the piano and he invited me to watch The Voice to see how it works as I want to get into all of that. He was lovely to me and that’s all I can say.”
Olly has been single since splitting from his longtime girlfriend Francesca Thomas in 2015.
