Love Island's Yewande says Amber would have 'crucified her' for posting drunk video

Love Island fans went into meltdown when Yewande Biala posted a video of a very worse for wear Amber Gill — and swiftly deleted it.

And speaking to Mirror Online, Yewande, 23, has now revealed why she took the clip down in such a hurry.

The stunning scientist admitted she worried her bestie Amber, 22, would have "crucified" her for posting it.

Yewande told us: "I was really drunk. The guy in the video, his name is Curtis, I woke up at 2pm the next day and he messaged me like 'Oh my god, me and Amber look so drunk, it’s such a bad video.'

"I was laughing about it and thought 'I'm gonna take this down before she sees it and actually crucifies me.

"I deleted it like you would any horrible video of your friends, or she'd actually shoot me in the head.

"That was it. Before it blew up she sent it to me like 'oh my god, why do I look like this?’ and we were laughing, it was so funny.

"All of a sudden it was huge, we were talking about it a few days ago and we couldn't believe it."

The girls became very close in the villa and have spent "nearly every day" together since the show ended.

But they haven't been able to spend as much time together recently.

Yewande added: "We're really good friends. i used to see her nearly every single day.

"This week and last week she was in Newcastle so we'll probably catch up soon.

"This is the first time I've gone a whole week without seeing her.

"I miss her."
