Love Island's Wes Nelson and Eyal Booker 'forming supergroup' for Celebrity X factor

Wes Nelson, Eyal Booker, Zara McDermott and Samira Mighty could be getting back together for a Love Island reunion of a different sort.

The foursome, who appeared in the 2018 series, are reportedly forming a supergroup so they can take part in Celebrity X Factor .

According to the Sun the ex-contestants are all keen to form their own band and perform on the first series of the rebooted singing competition.

The source claims that Syco boss Simon Cowell loves the "pulling power" of the reality TV show and thinks the supergroup idea is "great".

There has been heavy speculation on the line-up of the contestants for the new series with no confirmation being made by show bosses.

Eyal Booker was once in a pop group called EverYoung (ITV)

The source added of the unlikely group: "They’re not signed yet, but the four have been discussing songs and how they’d approach the show, so it looks very likely. They’re all confident that they can hold a tune."

Samira has already proven she's got singing talents as she made her name appearing in West End show Dreamgirls and is hoping for a career as a pop star.

Wes has expressed his interest in performing music after taking part in Dancing on Ice and getting to know former Westlife bandmember Brian McFadden.

Samira Mighty has proved she's got the vocal skills after appearing in the West End (ITV)
Zara McDermott will have to overcome her nerves if she wants to sing on stage (ITV)

Zara showed off her hidden vocal skills in an Instagram post singing an Ariana Grande song, which she revealed led to trolls sending her death threats.

The reality star was later invited backstage to The Voice filming by Olly Murs and ended up being linked to the pop singer, which she later claimed to have ended.

As for Eyal, he already has experience being in a pop group after it was revealed during his stint in the house that he was a member of British based pop band EverYoung.

Maybe it's second time lucky for the smooth crooner.
