Love Island's villa isn't the only thing getting a makeover - the water bottles are too

It's not just the Love Island villa that has undergone a stylish summer makeover - the iconic water bottles have as well.

The popular product has a fresh new look as the show returns for a new series.

Fans can't wait as the sexy dating show gets close, with the contestants already said to be in quarantine.

Love Island 2021's start date has finally been confirmed, and viewers don't have long at all to wait.

The series will air on June 28, just under two weeks away.

Now all you need is something perfect to sit alongside you as you watch on your sofa.

The legendary water bottles now feature a slimmer design and a white matte finish.

The double walled stainless steel body means the bottle is suitable for both hot and cold drinks.

Hundreds of thousands of the personalised bottles have been sold since they hit the internet back in 2017.

Of course, the Islanders use them as well - and with your name squiggled on the side, you get to feel a part of it.

Will van Rest, ITV Director of Games, Live & Merchandise, said: “The Love Island Water Bottle is one of the most recognisable items on any TV show and has been a runaway success with viewers.

"This year we’ve given them a refresh and they’ll be back in the villa and available for fans to purchase to welcome back the show of the summer.”

Love Island hasn't been on air since the first ever winter series aired in early 2020 and fans have missed it.

There is not long to wait now until we get to check out the all-new set for ourselves.

The news was confirmed on Wednesday's episode of This Morning by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

In the style of the show, they received a text confirming the news, which read: " Love Island is back! Monday 28th June 9pm, ITV2 and ITV Hub."

It finished with the hashtags #ThisIsNotADrill and #CrackOn.

Holly said: "This is exciting isn't it? Brilliant!"

It comes after it was reported that the new Love Island contestants are already in quarantine before filming begins.

The new series will also reportedly feature its first ever disabled contestant after producers reached out to influencers with disabilities to take part.

The ITV show had a record number of applications this year and bosses have already interviewed more than a 1,000 wannabes ahead of the new series.

Duty of care is vital ahead of the summer sizzler.

There will be psychological support on-hand, as well as training on how to deal with social media abuse.

Islanders will also receive financial training and be given full after care when they leave the show.

Love Island starts on June 28 at 9pm on ITV2
