Love Island's Tommy Fury sings The Climb by Miley Cyrus - and fans love him even more

Manchester boxer Tommy Fury has just won a place in the hearts of Love Island fans, by singing an empowering Miley Cyrus ballad.

Tommy, who has fallen head over heels for surfer Lucie Donlan on the ITV2 dating show, was confiding in dancer Curtis Pritchard over his love triangle with fellow Islander Joe Garratt when he he starting singing the song from Hannah Montana: The Movie.

His rendition of the song, which was covered by Joe McElderry as his X Factor winner's single, may have been a little shaky but viewers loved it.

"Tommy singing the climb is the best thing I've ever heard," said one smitten fan on Twitter.

"Tommy just sang Hannah Montana’s The Climb, hilarious," said another.

"Tommy belting out The Climb by Miley Cyrus was horrendous but somehow it made me love him even more," commented a third.

And another yelped: "As if Tommy just sang The Climb MARRY ME."

Tommy, the brother of Tyson Fury, told Curtis that his fight for Lucie is his 'world title.'

And, as the pair jokingly compared him to movie boxing legend Rocky, he said Lucie was his 'Adrian.'

The love triangle has already threatened to tear the Love Island villa apart after the reality show returned on Monday.

Newcomer Tommy chose Lucie to go on a date with Tommy, despite her already being coupled with Joe, and he turned on the charm by telling her that not even Beyonce and Rihanna could turn his head.

Sandwich maker Joe was left in pieces by the coupling, and told Lucie he had expected her to tell him straight away that she wasn't interested in Tommy.

Islanders must couple up in order to secure their place in the villa, with those who stay single finding themselves at risk of being dumped from the island.
