Tommy Fury might be best off sticking to boxing after an attempt at golf went horribly wrong.
The former Love Islander is trying out a new sport, but he admitted his latest trip to the driving range ended in disaster when he nearly battered a fellow golfer with his club by accident.
Speaking about the golfing incident on Instagram, 22-year-old Tommy shared how he'd put the man playing next to him in danger when he took a big swing and missed the ball .
"I don't know why I attempted to go golfing when it never ever works," he said.
"I nearly killed a man in the next bay, so yeah I was nearly jailed. I want to say a massive apology to him because I nearly ended his life."
Tommy explained his accuracy could do with some work.
"I hit the ball as hard as I could, [it] bounced off the roof, straight into his so I want to say a massive apology to you mate, and I won't be golfing again, cheers."
Perhaps he's better in the driving seat of a car than at the hands of a club.
Tommy recently celebrated after passing his driving test just weeks after girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, who he was coupled up with on Love Island in 2019.
"He literally squealed and went, ‘Oh my god I passed’ and me and my driving instructor went, that’s Tommy Fury," a learner driver who witnessed Tommy's victory behind the wheel told The Sun.
The onlooker added: "This car had pulled up and it was weird as it was on a Sunday and they don’t normally have their tests during a Sunday."
Tommy is the younger brother of boxer Tyson Fury, and is now also a professional boxer himself, while girlfriend Molly Mae works as an influencer and social media mogul.
