Love Island's Tommy Fury and Maura Higgins already share something in common

First date: Tommy Fury and Maura Higgins (Picture: ITV)

Love Island stars Maura Higgins and Tommy Fury share more than the romantic spark from their first date - they are represented by the same agency.

New girl Maura, who entered the villa as a bombshell alongside Elma Pazar on Wednesday, immediately hit it off with Fury, who managed to woo her with a grotesque-looking open plan cheese sandwich.

The pair soon started to get to know each other, with Tommy revealing that he was in the villa to “genuinely” find somebody.

They then toasted to their new friendship, while Tommy’s partner Molly-Mae Hague looked over the balcony in horror.

And it turns out their spark isn’t the only thing they share after it emerged they are both represented by Off Limits Entertainment, as mentioned in their Instagram bios.

Both Irish grid girl Maura and professional boxer Tommy are signed to the agency, which also has former Love Island boys Jack Fincham and Chris Hughes on its books.

Molly-Mae argues with Tommy in Love Island preview

A representative for Love Island confirmed to Standard Online that the two have never met before,

During Wednesday night’s episode, Maura picked Tommy as one of three guys to cook for her and get to know her.

Despite having also picked Danny Williams and Michael Griffiths to wine and dine her, Maura seemed smitten with Tommy, despite his abysmal culinary efforts.

Their date was watched by Molly-Mae, standing with the other girls on the balcony, who looks set to kick off at Tommy in tonight’s episode.

“Don’t sit there with me on the day beds and act like everything’s fine,” she raged in a preview clip.

But Tommy, relaxing on the bed, bit back: “Right now, the way you’re acting, it’s like you’re in love with me.”

Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm
