Love Island's Tommy Fury admits he doesn't know how to use a washing machine

Tommy Fury was forced to admit on camera that he had no idea how to use a washing machine - because he's never been taught.

In the latest vlog by girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, the boxer and ex-Love Island star was praised for becoming a bit more domesticated - sorting out his closet space and attempting to do his washing.

However, the 22-year-old soon had to declare he leaves the washing to Molly because he never learned how to use the machines.

Molly mocked surprise as she followed him around their house, asking him: “Are you actually going into the laundry room right now?! I don’t think I’ve seen this happen in a long time!”

Admitting he only ever goes in the room to drop off his dirty clothes, Tommy then points at the facilities and goes “I don’t use them two compartments” - one of them being the washing machine.

He then points to the sink to show all his socks and pants being soaked after Molly-Mae put them there, thanking his “beautiful baby girl” for looking after him.

Molly-Mae then spoke out in defence of him, saying she worried that people would think he was being sexist by making her do his washing.

“It’s not that he would prefer me to do it,” she told cameras, with Tommy agreeing and saying: “I would do it, but I just haven’t been taught. Like if someone would take the time and teach me, I would do it happily myself.”

“Would you like me to teach you one day?” Molly then asked him, causing Tommy to suddenly go a bit quiet, before they both laughed at the idea.

“I promise guys, he isn’t sexist,” she tells the cameras. “It’s not a housewife thing. It’s just we have separate jobs. He does the dishwasher a lot.”

The sweet insight into their home life comes after the pair were forced to shut down rumours that they had split up.

In an Instagram Q+A, Molly reassured a fan who noticed they ‘hadn’t been posting pictures together lately’.

"Of course we are OK! Just because we don't post a selfie together on stories for a few weeks doesn't mean things are bad,” Molly-Mae replied, as she revealed Tommy has been busy in training for his upcoming boxing bouts.

"We are both soooo busy. He's in training camp currently also which is super serious stuff. No date nights and messing around.

"We have really early nights and a very set routine that I also try and follow in order to support him. I love him so much. So proud of him.”

Tommy is set to take on MMA veteran Anthony Taylor in Cleveland, Ohio on August 29.

He’s the opening match for Jake Paul, who has since made it known he also wants to get into the ring with Tommy in the future.

Naming him as part of a 10-star hitlist, Jake is already antagonising his opponent by referring to him as ‘Timmy’.
