Love Island's Tommy and Curtis 'set to be the new Chris and Kem' with spin-off series

It’s the bromance of the year at Love Island - and it seems that Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard could be set to capitalise on their new found friendship.

The two Islanders have been best pals since entering the villa together as the show’s first surprise bombshells - so much so they even sealed it with a kiss the other night.

And it seems that TV producers could be lining them up for a potential spin-off series once they exit the luxury Mallorcan villa.

If they do, they will follow firmly in the footsteps of Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay, whose bond was adored by viewers of the show in 2017.

They have seen plenty of success since their exit from the show - they released a rap single and also starred in two series of TV show You Vs Chris & Kem.

According to the Daily Star , Tommy and Curtis could be in line for their own TV show.

The boxer and professional dancer have equally enjoyed some one-to-one time together, such as when Curtis gave Tommy a massage.

They both enjoyed a heart to heart chat on Tuesday while sat on the terrace - the place where many couples go for their first kiss.

Curtis told Tommy that he and Molly Mae are the “best-looking couple in the villa”, while Tommy lamented about Curtis and Amy’s relationship.

He then announced: "I've never met someone like you before” - before they both shared a smooch on the lips.

Viewers were shocked but delighted with the revelation.

One tweeted: “I’m over the moon for my favourite couple, who shared thier first kiss tonight. Yes Tommy & Curtis!!!! Big up the bromance.”

A second said: “It says a lot about this season of #loveisland when the most romantic part was the kiss between Tommy & Curtis.

But not everyone was convinced with the show of love between the pair.

Another fan tweeted: “Urgh omg please. What is this rubbish “bromance” with Tommy & Curtis?? They can’t even hide the fact that its forced. Is it by force to kiss on the lips?”

Love Island continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2.
