And naturally the 22-year-old Leeds native has made no secret of his modelling past while on the show. But what his villa-mates may not know is the finer details of Tom's background.
Some incredible snaps have emerged of Tom modelling a range of toilet mechanisms for hardware store B&Q.
The DIY shop tweeted a shout out to Tom when they realised where they'd seen him before.
"We don't want to see Love Island Tom's chances of finding love go down the toilet, so we're keeping everything crossed for him for tonight's episode.
"P.S. thanks Tom for making our forthcoming range of toilet mechanisms look 100% our type on paper!" they shared on their official Twitter account.
This year's Love Island villa is currently packed with models and influencers.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Arabella Chi has modelled maternity wear for online retailer ASOS.
While Danny Williams has cropped up in promotional shots for River Island - though the campaign pictures have bizarrely cropped his face out.
Model Tom is currently partnered up with Maura Higgins on the show but the pair could be heading back to their day jobs if they don't survive the public vote off.
The pair already appear to be on the rocks with Tom admitting he finds grid girl Maura 'OTT' and 'cringe' in a secret chat with Jordan.
However, news soon got back to Maura who demands to know Tom's real feelings in tonight's explosive episode.
Caroline Flack will make a surprise entrance in the villa and send two contestants packing in a shock double dumping.
