Love Island's Toby Aromoloran set to visit Ireland this week as he plans Mayo trip

Love Island star Toby Aromoloran will be visiting Ireland this week.

The 22-year-old and his girlfriend Chloe Burrows were runners up in this years summer edition of the Virgin Media hit show, losing out to Liam Reardon and Millie Court for the crown.

But viewers were delighted to see that Toby had plenty of Irish links when his family visited during the show.

Toby’s mum Victoria hails from Mayo and in the aftermath of the final, he had pledged to visit his mum's homeland with his new girlfriend.

Ad the semi-professional footballer has now disclosed that he'll be on these shores later this week.

Taking to his Instagram Stories in a Q&A on Saturday, Toby said: “I’m in Ireland next week. I’m in Ireland next week. Tuesday to Thursday.

“Dublin and Mayo,” he added.

We don't know for sure if Chloe will be joining him at this stage amid rumours of a split between the pair.

The whispers started on Thursday night when the blonde babe failed to show up for the star's fashion launch.

Given their status as a solid couple, many were shocked to discover Chloe was nowhere to be seen at Toby's boohooMAN launch on Thursday night.

Fans of the hilarious couple need not worry though - as Toby has confirmed the pair are very much still together.

He said: "She wanted to come to my event so bad, but couldn't because she was in isolation waiting for her Covid test to come back."

It's believed former marketing executive Chloe was isolating after being in Dubai so was unable to attend the swanky showbiz event.

Current rules mean travellers coming back to England from the United Arab Emirates must pay for a Covid-19 test to be taken after arriving home to the United Kingdom.
