Love Island star Theo Campbell has been blinded in one eye following a freak accident while partying in Ibiza.
Theo had been posting photos to Instagram in recent days of himself living it up on the famous party island - including one with nightclub tycoon Wayne Lineker.
But his most recent post shows him in a hospital bed with his right eye covered by a patch with a caption explaining how a champagne cork struck his eye leaving him blinded in one side, report the Liverpool Echo.
His girlfriend - fellow Love Island star Kaz Crossley - is also in the picture after flying out to be by his side in hospital.
Theo captioned the photo explaining how the accident split his eye in two. He said: "Thanks for all the messages and support I’ve got over the last couple days they’re all very much appreciated!
"So yeah basically two eye surgeries later after a really unfortunate accident, I’ve lost all vision in my right eye as it got split in half, who would have thought a champagne cork would be the end of me.
"But I still have one eye left, looking at the bright side of things. Thanks for flying out to look after me as well babe if anyone knows where sells cool eye patches let me know.
Fellow Love Island stars were quick to send their regards after the awful accident.
Host Caroline Flack said: "Send love xx"
Fellow islander Marcel said: "Ah bro sorry to hear this news, everything will be bless g, mad things happen in life but we roll with the punches. Mans just got a new niche fashion accessory to rock."
Another islander Sherif said: "Bro when are you ever serious? Praying for a speedy recovery and good health brother."
Montana Brown said: "Sending all the love. You poor thing."
Theo took part in the 2017 series of the show and began dating Kaz from the 2018 version of earlier this year after she split with partner Josh Denzel.
