Love Island's Tanyel and Zara reignite bitter Olivia feud as they brand her a 'mean girl'

The feud between Love Island's Tanyel Revan, Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins has reignited once again.

Former Islanders Tanyel, 26, and Zara, 25, made a joint appearance on a YouTube video to give their take on the fallout after the latest series wrapped.

In a newly-released video chat, weeks after the Love Island reunion aired, the pair – who have formed a bond since leaving the villa – spoke out about their feud with Olivia, 27, and called her a 'mean girl'.

Both Tanyel and Zara butted heads with Olivia in the villa, but things seemed to have been resolved. It wasn't until they had all left South Africa that tensions boiled over.

Things began when Tanyel called out Shaq, Tanya and Olivia for "influencing" Jordan Odofin to dump her from the programme. Olivia reacted in a comment of a TikTok video which replayed the moment.

She wrote: "Shame I didn’t get to say the real reason she left" followed by a smiling face emoji.

Tanyel and Zara then reacted with a TikTok video cryptically hitting out at Olivia and she responded with an upload of her own.

Things seemed to have cooled down but now the pair have spoken out on the fallout in a video, where they branded Olivia a "mean girl".

When hairdresser Tanyel was asked about the online row with Olivia, she explained to On Demand Entertainment: "All I've got to say is there's only so much you can poke the bear and not expect a reaction, life doesn't work that way. You can't keep talking about someone on TV and then carry on saying things outside of it and not take any accountability and put the blame onto someone else, then write comments on other TikToks and not expect a reaction.

"The one thing I will hold my hands up with I wish I didn't react but I reacted because I'm only human and there's only so much I can take."

Tanyel added how Olivia is "always saying something about me", which Zara said she "experienced" the brewing issues with Tanyel and Olivia and "wanted to stick up" for the hairdresser.

The pair then admitted they felt they "shouldn't have" made a TikTok in response to Olivia's comment, but Tanyel that tensions were boiling over for them.

After the spat on TikTok, Tanyel added of Olivia: "She's continued to go on podcasts and there's one where she turned around and basically painted us to be the mean girls for putting out the TikTok, but what she's forgot to mention is we've only ever reacted, it's been a response to everything she has constantly started.

"One thing that really got to me is she's explained how she come out of the villa and she got a lot of hate and she's really down and people – us two – shouldn't add on to it when someone's already down and in a bad place. And all I felt saying was 'how dare you' because this is coming from the mean girl who was mean for six weeks."

Zara agreed and said Olivia was the "reason why I was down in the villa".
