Love Island's Siânnise Fudge shares traumatic childhood memory which left her 'absolutely petrified'

Bristolian beauty Siânnise Fudge has revealed one of her biggest fears whilst on holiday in Cyprus. The 28-year-old, who found fame on the winter edition of Love Island in 2020, shared that one childhood experience in Cornwall left her 'absolutely petrified'.

The former House of Fraser beauty counter worker has been keeping fans updated on her travels on social media, as she spends time in the sun with her family. Taking to her Instagram story last night, July 20, with her sister, Amber, Siânnise said she was 'kicking herself'.

Siânnise said: "Amber, tell everyone today what you did in the sea."

After Amber told Siânnise's 1.7million fans that she had swam and 'became friends' with a beautiful sea turtle whilst swimming, Siânnise told fans she also 'really wanted to get in' to see the turtle up close, but she couldn't. She said: "Aw guys, wait 'til I show you the video.

"This is why I kick myself for having such a fear of deep water because there was this big sea turtle and, honestly, it was beautiful. Like, absolutely beautiful.

"And it was just swimming with everyone, it was just loving life. And I just really wanted to get in but I would drown."

Reflecting on a past holiday, Siânnise shared: "I’ve literally had a fear of water ever since a young age because I was at Cornwall on holiday when I was really young, and me and my friend at the time, we went into the sea and there was a huge wave and it literally just took us out.

"And ever since that, I’ve just been absolutely petrified. I’m not even a strong swimmer either, if I’m gonna be honest."

Just a few days ago, Siânnise shared an update on her weight gain journey, saying 'the struggle is real' whilst on holiday. After sharing an honest post at the start of the month about her mental health, the Love Island star has been very raw with her fans.

Siânnise shared that she was struggling with anxiety and depression 'behind closed doors' this time last year, which caused her to battle 'insomnia, extreme mood swings and losing two stone in weight'. After losing all confidence and even ending up in hospital, Siânnise reassured fans that she now feels 'beautiful, confident & I love my body now more than ever'.
