There was some shock news from Love Island early on Tuesday afternoon when bosses revealed that Sherif Lanre had left the show after breaking rules.

A spokesperson for ITV said: "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa."
commented: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
Fans of Love Island quickly took to Twitter to express their shock at Sherif's exit. One posted "I was looking forward to seeing Sherif and Anna grow and fall in love but now," with another adding "I was rooting for Sherif and Anna what did he do?"
Many others are desperate to know why Sherif was kicked off the show. One viewer reacted "WHY HAS SHERIF BEEN KICKED OUT?! I NEED ANSWERS!!! HES MY FAVOURITE!!!!!!!!!" and another ranted "If LoveIsland doesn’t reveal in tonight’s episode or tomorrow’s what sherif did ima be fuming."
Others are predicting that Sherif's departure will lead to Anton turning his attentions back on Anna.
