Love Island's Shaughna and Molly set for awkward showdown as bosses send them to discuss Callum

Love Island's Shaughna Phillips is set for even more heartache tonight when she's sent off to chat with her love rival Molly Smith.

In last night's episode she was left devastated when Callum Jones, 23, chose to come back from the villa with Molly, despite being with Shaughna, 25, from day one.

Sensing an opportunity to clear the air - or at least a chance to create huge drama - bosses send the two girls a text asking them to go off on their own to discuss the situation tonight.

As the duo leave the villa for their one-to-one, Molly, 25, tells her: "This is awkward, isn't it…"

The next episode begins just moments after the last, with Shaughna finally giving her reaction to being dumped by Callum.

Explaining his decision, Callum says: "I went to Casa Amor, I had a chance to speak to Molly, it brought out a side to me I didn't think I had.

"The way I felt about her after two or three days just clarified it to be honest.

"Not to say anything against Shaughna, I wasn't unhappy with her, it's just that this has been a sign for me that something has been missing and I think I've found it with Molly."

Clearly upset, Shaughna says: "I'm happy for Callum. I should have never trusted a scaffolder anyway."

Asked by host Laura Whitmore if there's anything she’d like to say, Shaughna replies: "Congrats, hun."

While he was in Casa Amor Shaughna was frantically worrying about how he was getting on in the other villa while he was moving on with Molly.

Viewers begged bosses to intervene and tell Shaughna what was going on for the sake of her mental health.

35 people made official complaints to broadcasting watchdog OfCom over Shaughna's treatment.
