Love Island's Sharon Gaffka has said that working for the government has been "hectic and stressful" over the past year during the pandemic.
Despite that, the 25-year-old from Oxford said that she is keen to return to her job after finding love.
Sharon also revealed that one of her colleagues "screamed down the phone" in excitement after discovering that she would be on this year's series.
"The co-workers that I had the conversation with before are actually really happy about it," she told the Mirror and other news organisations. "One of my close colleagues is a massive fan of the show, so when she found out, she screamed at me down in excitement.

"I think she's probably more excited about it than I am. But yeah, I feel very happy."
Opening up about what it had been like working for the government over the past year, she said: "It is definitely hectic and at times very intense and stressful. I find that I kind of thrive in those intense situations, being kept busy essentially."
Sharon said that she didn't have any political crushes, but confessed that she had been eyeing up some of the hunky doctors on the telly.

She remarked: "I wouldn't say that I've had any political crushes but you know having the news on in the background you see a lot of attractive doctors but no political crushes for me!"
Sharon also began taking part in beauty pageants from the age of 15, 10 years ago.
"I think for me initially, I was a very shy, quiet teenager," she said. "I blended into the background, so I was looking for something to boost my confidence. I think one girl was doing the same pageant that I did, so it wasn't like I was going completely alone. We had each other to lean on.
"I genuinely fell in love with it. There's a lot of misconceptions that beauty queens are b****y and don't like each other and sabotage one another but it was genuinely a room full of girls that felt exactly the same way as me."
