Sharon Gaffka has revealed that she’s rather furious with former fellow Love Island contestant Jake Cornish.
The 25-year-old reality TV star has blasted the cheeky chap over his treatment of his girlfriend Liberty Poole in recent weeks as his questionable behaviour in Casa Amor was played out on screen.
Although viewers were treated to a birds-eye view of Jake telling the boys to crack on with the six stunning Casa Amor babes, Liberty only has a slight inkling into the extent that her boyfriend went to in a bid to influence his pals.
Now, Sharon has admitted that she would love to slap Jake after witnessing the other side to him as she keeps up with the ITV2 show after being dumped from the island earlier this series.
Sharon joined Raj Pander & Hardeep Dhadda on their Thank You Next podcast to talk through her time on the show and her feelings towards Jake now that his ‘true colours’ have been shown.
After the explosive movie night challenge, Liberty was left feeling insecure after being forced to watch a clip of her boyfriend telling the other lads in the villa that he doesn’t have the urge to ‘rip her clothes off’.
Jake confessed that in the early days, he wasn’t overly sexually attracted to blonde bombshell Liberty.
Naturally, the hurtful comment left Liberty close to tears as she admitted that her ‘worst nightmare’ was for her boyfriend to think that she wasn’t good enough.
Following the hard-to-watch scenes, Sharon has insisted that Jake should have reassured Liberty more after she witnessed the savage confession.
“Lib is very intelligent, and I feel like she underestimates herself a lot,” Sharon told.
“I just want to give Jake a slap around the back of the head and say, like, can you just pull your finger out you’re a***, please? And, like, reassure the girl that's your girlfriend that she is beautiful because I'm not there to do it for you.”
She went on: “And I'm hoping that he has said it and we're just not seeing it.
“Like, I'm hoping there is reassurance that we're just not seeing.”
Elsewhere during the chat, Sharon admitted that since being booted from the Love Island villa, she has signed up to Tinder in a bid to find love.
The reality TV star admitted that it’s been quite the adventure as she made her return to dating apps.
