Love Island 2021 contestant Shannon Singh has opened up about the possibility of having sex on the ITV2 dating show.
The 22-year-old model has admitted that sometimes she can have sex up to eight times a day, but she won’t jump into bed with just anyone.
Speaking to press including The Mirror, the Scottish brunette said she likes to get to know someone first before being intimate.
“I’m not the type of girl to go and chuck myself at guys, it’s not my thing,” Shannon explained.
“I would say I’m a bit apprehensive and anxious about how the villa is really fast-paced and you do meet people, and obviously you’re chucked into getting to know people straight away.

“With me, when I’m dating someone, I wanna find out if they’re a really good friend first because first and foremost I feel like the good foundations of a relationship is that you’re really good friends.”
She continued: "So in terms of sex and being intimate and stuff like that, that’s not gonna happen until I’m certain of someone, until I know that they’ve got good intentions, until I know that they’re right for me."

Shannon previously spoke about her healthy sex life on a podcast, but she thinks her comment may have been misconstrued.
"That whole podcast was in the context of being an Asian girl and not being traditional and speaking out about your sexuality, speaking about things that Asian woman don’t speak about," she said.
"If it wasn’t for that podcast, I would never have spoke about stuff like that.
"I think it was that, 'I can have [sex] up to eight times a day. When I am in love with someone I do have a lot of sex and I think that’s normal and that’s healthy in a relationship."
She added: "But that whole podcast is about Asian women being empowered and speaking out about things that typical Asian women don’t speak about.

"I want to empower women and if I can stop the stereotype of Asian women not owning who you are and being afraid to show your body, if I can be an advocate for that then of course I will be!"
During the same podcast chat, Shannon also spoke about her dad's past working as a stripper.
"This was years ago and I really don’t want to invade his privacy, I mean that was again in the context of Asian families," she explained.

"I don’t want it plastered everywhere that my dad was a stripper because you’re talking years ago, but it’s something that we are proud of as family, it’s not traditional, and I just see it as a joke, I think it’s hilarious.
"I think it’s jokes and I think it’s made our family who we are. Me, my mum and dad, and my brother are very open, we’re very honest as a family and I can speak to mum and dad about anything, they’re a great support system."
