Love Island's Samira Mighty and Alex Dean 'split and remove all traces of their relationship'

Love Island star Samira Mighty and Ibiza Weekender's Alex Dean are have reportedly split.

The pair, who seem to have deleted all trace of each other and their relationship from their respective Instagram accounts, are said to have gone their separate ways a while ago.

They've also unfollowed each other after their 14 month romance.

A source told The Sun Online that they went their separate ways ahead of the current lockdown restrictions being enforced.

They said: "They haven't been together in a long time."

Mirror Online has contacted Samira's reps for comment.

She found fame during her 2018 stint in the Love Island villa, during which she coupled up with Frankie Foster, and even opted to leave the villa to be with him after he was given the boot from the show.

The pair split not long after they'd left the villa when it emerged Frankie had cheated on her with another woman.

She has since had a stab at the X Factor: Celebrity, appearing alongside pals Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott and Eyal Booker.

Alex, meanwhile, made his name last year with a stint on Ibiza Weekender, and met Samira when introduced by his mate and her Love Island co-star Niall Aslam.

During Samira's series, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham went on to claim the £50,000 prize.

Amid the coronavirus crisis, the 2020 summer series - with there already having been a winter one - might not go ahead.

ITV's Kevin Lygo has ruled out staging the show in a British mansion rather than the typical Mallorca, but bosses may have another idea in mind.

It would involve bringing back veteran and fan-favourite islanders to watch old scenes in their homes.
