To say Geordie girl Rebecca Gormley has made an impact on Love Island would be a huge understatement.
She seems to have Love Island fans talking as she soared to the top trend on Twitter on Wednesday night.
Ever since she set foot in the villa on Monday night, Rebecca has stirred things up no end, with her getting the girls’ backs up by aiming to steal their men.
And, as well as ruffling feathers on the show, the former Miss Newcastle has sparked a huge reaction on social media.
Some viewers have heralded her as the savior of the series, after things got off to a rather uneventful start, and others are blown away by the brunette beauty’s striking looks, not forgetting her amazing hair.
One tweeted “I actually really like Rebecca...she’s brought the drama to the villa,” and another posted “these girls mad that Rebecca is playing the game! Do they even know what show they’re on?”
But as ever with Love Island, there have been some negative tweets too.
Some viewers have compared Rebecca to Lucie Donlan from last year’s show in the way she likes to spend more time with the boys, rather than get to know the girls.
And others are far from enamoured by the ruthless approach the 21-year-old is taking on Love Island so far.
Watching Wednesday’s episode, one reacted “Rebecca is such bad vibes.”
